Sweet Summertime

Its summer and you know what that means?! Ill explain with a few of the reasons as to why I love summer!

• I love summer because I get to wear capris, shorts, skirts and dresses
• I love summer because I always find myself going on random day adventures
• I love summer because I get to swim with my nephews
• I love summer because I can eat all the ice cream and popsicles I want
• I love summer because I tend to read more books
• I love summer because I always try to find good excuses to make salsa and guacamole
• I love summer because I like laying out (even if I never tan)
• I love summer because for some reason the best songs come out during summertime
• I love summer because summer nights are the best kind of nights
• I love summer because the sun doesn't set till after eight
• I love summer because I am always warm
• I love summer because of the fresh fruit
• I love summer because I love the smell of BBQ, sunblock hair and salty skin

Books!

I really truly love books with a passion. I often find myself sitting on the floor of Barnes and Noble for hours with piles and piles of books surrounding me. I always have the battle of narrowing down my selection so I do not go home with twenty books and zero dollars in my bank account. If I could, trust me, I would! My poor bookshelf is overflowing with books because I cannot part with any of them. And every time I go back to Barnes and Noble I pick out all of the same books that were in my previous piles and go through the whole debate and process all over again! Needless to say, I plan on having a library in my future house! :)

whole town to ourselves!

We had full intentions of going to old town mesa to try out a known bakery called Sweet Cakes, little did we know the whole town was closed that day besides the frozen yogurt place! We still had such a fun time walking around, letting the kids play, eating frozen yogurt and cinnamon buns for lunch! Who knew you could have so much fun while everything was closed! We are dying to go back and try Sweet Cakes when its open!
